We're a Featured Cafe in the European Coffee Trip Awards 2026
HOW TO VOTE FOR BOARDWALK COFFEE
Content
Boardwalk Coffee Killarney is a featured cafe in the European Coffee Trip Awards 2026, and voting opened today, 15 September, running for one month through the European Coffee Trip app.
Each voter gets one vote, which can go to up to three listed cafes, and only one vote is allowed per verified email and device.
Winning and top-voted cafes get recognition, prizes, and a badge on their profile, and everyone who votes goes into a separate prize draw of their own. If you've ever had a coffee at our Killarney cafe, this is a two-minute favour that actually counts.
A Europe-wide spotlight on specialty cafes: European Coffee Trip runs a directory and awards programme built to highlight the continent's independent specialty coffee shops, not chains;, see their guide to specialty coffee in Ireland for the wider context we're part of.
Boardwalk Killarney is a listed, featured cafe: find our profile on European Coffee Trip, which is what makes us eligible to collect votes in the first place.
This isn't a paid placement: being featured means being recognised as part of that specialty coffee map, the voting is where the actual competition happens.
Voting opened 15 September 2026 and stays open for one month, so there's a real window to get the word out, not a single day to catch.
Done through the European Coffee Trip mobile app: each app user can cast one vote, and that vote can go to up to three listed cafes, Boardwalk can be one of them. Full award rules here.
One vote per person: only one vote per verified email address and mobile device is permitted, so it's worth asking people directly rather than assuming a crowd has already covered it.
Boardwalk Killarney was already ranked 48th in Europe's 100 Best Coffee Shops for 2026 — a list built by people who taste a lot of coffee and don't hand out places lightly. The European Coffee Trip Awards is a different kind of recognition: it's decided by the people who actually drink the coffee, not a panel. Being featured is nice. Being voted for is better.
If you're one of the people who's had a Boardwalk coffee in hand at some point this year, in Killarney, Youghal, or wherever you found us, a single vote in the next month is the easiest way to say so. And if you're a wholesale buyer weighing up your next roaster, a cafe that its own customers vote for is worth factoring into that decision too.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
