Ordering, shipping & delivery

What countries do you ship to?

Ireland, the UK, and the EU as standard. UAE customers order through the "Buy in UAE" option on each product page for local pricing. Delivery in Ireland is free over €50; UK and EU orders ship free over €60.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Ireland: 1–3 working days via An Post tracked delivery. UK and EU: 4–5 working days. We roast in small batches, so allow a bit of extra time during busy periods.

Can I get my coffee ground?

Yes. Choose whole bean or select a grind for French press, espresso, moka pot, or filter at checkout. If you're not brewing within a week or two, go with whole bean to preserve freshness.

I can't see my country at checkout. What do I do?

Email info@boardwalkcoffee.ie and we'll let you know what's possible for your location.

Freshness, storage & brewing

When was my coffee roasted?

Every bag carries its actual roast date, not just a best-before. We roast to order in small batches in Youghal, so what you get is freshly roasted, not warehouse stock.

How should I store my coffee?

In an airtight container, away from light, heat, and moisture. For the best cup, buy what you'll drink within four to six weeks of the roast date.

Do you offer decaf?

Yes, our Colombia, Antioquia decaf sits alongside the single-origin range, cupped and roasted to the same standard as everything else we sell.

What's the difference between your coffee and supermarket coffee?

We roast single-origin, specialty-grade beans, mostly scoring 84 and above, in small batches, and ship close to the roast date. Supermarket coffee is usually blended for consistency and can sit for months before it reaches the shelf.

Sourcing

Where does your coffee come from?

Farms and cooperatives worldwide, currently including Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Rwanda, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. Every bag lists the farm or washing station, elevation, and processing method.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our bags are CO2-neutral and mono-material, certified under DIN EN 13430, which makes them easier to recycle than mixed-material bags. Every bag has a one-way valve to keep the coffee fresh in transit.
