Daye Bensa runs a dedicated specialty program in Gatta Farm situated in Shantawene Village, in Sidama Bensa, Ethiopia. The coffee grows in a natural forest at an altitude of 2120 – 2210 masl.
"Gatta" is actually the name of a waterfall that runs through the plot of land and from which it takes its name.

Mulugeta Dukamo was already in the coffee business managing another coffee station when he discovered a natural forest where he planted the first coffee on 2013 (Gatta Farm).This farm strives to give good opportunities to locals (which are the majority of the employees).
Quality control and processing is mainly assigned to women. All this effort is framed by a fair wadge scheme.
The reason why this coffee grows under the forest trees is just because they offer natural protection and shade to the coffee plants and the coffee drying station which is located in the same farm.
This project truly believe in quality reason why they offer full training to their employee covering accommodation for learner and trainers.
Having a training center is not only useful for the same farm but it keeps a vibrant and professional approach focused on improving production processes.
